Abstract

(Cl, 14.7)(Cl, 14.7)* 81. p. with decomp.-f. Nathansohn and Miiller (Bey., 1889, 22, 8175) prepared this iodide by addition of methyl iodide to hlichler's ketone and gave mp 105'(presumably a misprint). All the salts are freely soluble in water and alcohol, but completely insoluble in ether, benzene, or acetone.
