Abstract
Jan., 1936 THE JACOBSEN REACTION. IV 3 amount of tribromopseudocumene resulting from the transfer of bromine atoms from one molecule to another. The rearrangement of bromomesitylene was entirely of the latter type and the only products were mesitylene sulfonic acid and polybromomesitylenes.
