Abstract

Conclusion The present data show that photoinduced electron transfer occurs more efficiently in micellar systems where the more water soluble product is repelled from the micellar surface due to electrostatic repulsion of product and micelle. Location of the reactants away from the water-colloid interface leads to lower ion yields; lower yields also result from a decreased mobility of the ion fragments in the medium. Time-resolved ...
