Abstract

The synthesis of substituted benzimidazoles, 2-aminobenzimidazoles, 2- aminobenzothiazoles, and benzoxazoles is described via intramolecular cyclization of o- bromoaryl derivatives using copper (II) oxide nanoparticles in DMSO under air.
