Abstract
We developed a highly enantioselective separation system for the optically active compounds,(S)-ibuprofen and l-phenylalanine, from their racemic mixtures by employing a supported liquid membrane (SLM) encapsulating a surfactant-lipase complex (or a surfactant-α-chymotrypsin complex).
