Abstract

Abstract A new route to trifluoromethylpyrimidines is described. Lithiation of trifluoromethylpyrimidines was successfully achieved and was used to synthesize new pyrimidine derivatives. A new synthetic route to a biologically active molecule with antimycotic activities is reported.
