Abstract
The stable ozonide IIa from 2-phenylskatole (I) was studied in its spectral and chemical behavior, ThefoIlowingagents were used for reductive cleavage of the ozonide: hydrogen and palladium, lithium aluminum hydride, sodium boron hydride, alkali metal, phenyl-and n- butylmagnesium bromide and methyllithiurn.
