Abstract

This paper describes the simple and efficient method for the alkoxycarbonylation of aryl iodides using magnetically recoverable Pd/Fe3O4 as the catalyst under atmospheric pressure of carbon monoxide. Various aryl iodides on alkoxycarbonylation with alcohols gave the corresponding products in good to excellent yields.
