Abstract A number of analogues of GABA or β-alanine containing 4, 4-diphenyl-3-butenyl (DPB), benzhydryl ethyl ether (BEE), or benzhydryl propyl ether N-substituents have been synthesized and tested as inhibitors of synaptosomal GABA uptake.
