Abstract

Six saturated hydrocarbons (cyclohexane, 3-ethylpentane, methylcyclopentane, cis-and trans-decalin and adamantane) were oxidised by the GifIV system (iron catalyst, oxygen, zinc, carboxylic acid) and its electrochemical equivalent (Gif-Orsay system).
