Abstract

An attempt was made to synthesize a series of non-cytotoxic low molecular weight compounds of varying substitutions and functionalities having pharmacophore activity like carbonyl compounds, carboxylic acid and bioisosteres like tetrazole and phenyl acrylic acid.
