Abstract

Zusammenfassung Reaction of allyltrimethylsilane (Sakurai reaction) with steroidal 3-oxo-4, 6-dienes catalized by titanium tetrachloride has been investigated. In contrast to the analogous conjugate addition of alkylmagnesium halides catalized by copper (I) chloride only the 7α-substituted derivatives are formed.
