Abstract
Polymethacrylates, polystyrenes, and polynorbornenes with carbazole-oxadiazole side chains exhibit good thermal stabilities; their spectroscopic and electrochemical properties suggest their suitability as solution-processable hosts for the green phosphor Ir (ppy) 3. External quantum efficiencies of up to 10% were obtained for three-layer organic light- emitting diodes using polymer/Ir (ppy) 3 blends as the emissive layer.
