Abstract

View all references a method for the preparation of N-methyl secondary amines by reductive amination of carbonyl compounds using a combination of titanium(IV) isopropoxide and sodium borohydride. A mixture of methylamine hydrochloride and triethylamine has been employed as the source of nucleophilic methylamine.
