Abstract

Abstract A new family of symmetrically and unsymmetrically-substituted 4, 4′-bis [(dialkylamino) styryl]-2, 2′-bipyridine ligands, containing 1− 4 hydroxy groups on their dialkylamino moieties, have been synthesized.
