Abstract

Abstract A number of cheap oxidising agents have been found to be effective for the conversion of N, N-bis (trifluoromethyl) hydroxylamine into bis (trifluoromethyl) nitroxide. The best of these are cerium (IV) salts either in the solid state or in aqueous acid solution.
