Abstract

f)-cis-N-[l-(2-Hydroxy-2-phenylethyl)-3-methyl-4-piperidyll-N-phenylpropanamide (1) is a mixture of four stereoisomers [(2S, 3R, 4S)-la,(2R, 3R, 4S)-lb,(2R, 3S, 4R)-lc, and (2S, 3S, 4R)-Id], which together constitute two diastereoisomeric pairs of optical isomers.
