Abstract

Summary A number of basically substituted esters of 2, 2-diphenylalkanoic acids, 2, 2- diphenyl-4-pentenoic acid and 2-cyclohexyl-2; phenylbutanoic acid have been prepared. Procedures for the hydrolysis of certain tertiary nitriles to the corresponding acids have been investigated.
