Abstract

Abstract: y radiolysis of liquid 2-butyne gives rise to 3-methyl-2-hepten-5-yne, 2, 6-octadiyne, cis-and trans-2-butene, hexamethylbenzene, and syn-octamethyltricyclo [4.2. 0.0 z~ 5] octadiene. as major products. These products account for approximately 72% of the reacted alkyne.
