Abstract
This work deals with the synthesis of piperidine and hydroxypiperidine analogs of nucleosides. Starting from commercially available 3-hydroxypiperidine, proline or 4- hydroxyproline, a series of piperidine derivatives of both purine and pyrimidine nucleobases was prepared.
