Abstract
Abstract Treatment of 3-(hydroxymethyl) pyrazolo [1, 5-a] pyridines with trifluoroacetic acid in refluxing dichloro-methane led to the formation of bis (pyrazolo [1, 5-a] pyrid-3-yl) methanes or bis [(pyrazolo [1, 5-a] pyrid-3-yl)]-methyl ethers depending upon the concentration of trifluoroacetic acid.
