Abstract

A series of salicylaldehyde azine derivatives were found to exhibit interesting aggregation- induced emission enhancement (AIEE) characteristics. In good solvent, all these compounds displayed very weak fluorescence, while strong emission was observed when they were placed in poor solvent.
