Abstract
The highly nucleophilic metal carbonyl anions [CpFe (CO) J and [(CSMe5) Fe (CO),]- (C5Me5 Cp*) react with (~ p XR c~ H,) cr (C o)~ substrates in a previously unknown type of nucleophilic aromatic substitution to form (? 6-(CpFe (CO) 2) RC6H4) Cr (C0) 3 products.
