Abstract

Earlier efforts in our groups had revealed a correlation between the stereochemistry of the southern aliphatic hydroxyl (SAH) group, the chain length, and the affinity of the compounds for CB1 and CB2, the two known cannabinoid receptors, within a series of hybrid cannabinoids. 1 A systematic study, in which C6 stereochemistry and the chain length of the group appended to this carbon were varied, revealed that the C6β hydroxypropyl analogue had a high affinity for both ...
