Abstract

A convenient route is described for attachment of acyl groups (1) CO (CHz) nN (Et) 2 (CHJ, NH (Et) 2 (h= 3, m= 2; n= 4, m= 2-4),(2) CO (CHz) nN (Et) z (CHz), NEt3 (n= 4, m= 2-4), or (3) CO (CHz) 4N (CH2CHz) 3N (CH2) nCH3 (n= 1 or 9) to 0-3'of thymidine 5'-phosphate (TMP).
