Abstract

A series of new cinnamide dimers was synthesized (5a-6a) and evaluated for their antimicrobial and antifungal activity. All the compounds investigated have shown significant antimicrobial activity against gram-positive and gram-negative bacterial strains, as well as few fungal strains.
