Abstract

The reaction of chloroethyloxazolidinones with amines as described in the preceding paper has led to compounds with interesting pharmacological activity. l In our continuing effort to uncover compounds with useful CNS depressant activity, we have extended this original exploratory work to include a series of aminoethyloxazolidinones prepared from aryl- substituted piperidines, pyrrolidines, and related cyclic amines.
