Abstract

Discussion Direct fluorination is a well-known technique for the preparation of fluorine- containing compounds. This paper describes the fluorination of l-hydroxy-3- trichloroacetoxypropane, a reaction which affords a variety of products (Chart I), including several species not previously reported.
