Abstract
As in the cyclohexyl series, the greatest bactericidal action is found in the acids containing sixteen to eighteen carbon atoms. A comparison of the two cyclopentyl series would indicate that the@-cyclopentylethyl alkyl acetic acids are slightly more effective than the isomeric cyclopentyl alkyl acetic acids.
