Abstract
In a study of pyridine derivatives related to pyridoxin, it appeared interesting to prepare and examine some theoretically possible oxidation products.“Pseudo-pyridoxin” appears to be a mixture of such oxidation products. Its activity by some tests is so much greater than that of pyridoxine that the hypothesis may be entertained that certain of these oxidation products are the real active material.
