Abstract
Aromatic aldehydes are an important class of compounds, that are widely used as building blocks in all areas of chemistry.[1] Traditionally, aromatic aldehydes were synthesized by Vielsmeier–Haag, Gattermann–Koch, Reimer–Tiemann, and Duff reactions.
