Abstract
Results Irradiation (A> 500 nm) of CP, F~~(CO)~ in the presence of triisopropyl phosphite in cyclohexane solution at room temperature gives Cp2Fe2 (CO) 3 (P (Oi-Pr) 3); the product was identified by IR measurements (v (C~ 0)= 1757, 1939, and 1961 cm-'in cyclohexane solution; these values accord closely with those reported earlier). 6 A similar photoreaction occurs between CpzFe2 (CO) 4 and PPh,(98 f 2% conversion) s or tri-n-butylphosphine. ...
