Abstract
Earlier publications from these laboratories have reported on the chemical reactivity of perfluoroolefins, CFF=-CF--R~,~~~ and the fluorohaloolefins, CF2= CFX. b. 6 The compound perfluoroacrylonitrile contains the CFz= CF-structure conjugated with the nitrile group. This unsaturated nitrile has been prepared and the chemistry of both the CF2= CF- and-CN molecular groupings investigated.
