Abstract A variety of substituted imidate N-[1-methyleneisobenzofuran-3 (1H)-ylidene] benzenamines have been prepared in good to excellent yields by the palladium-catalyzed tandem heteroannulation of o-(1-alkynyl) benzamides with iodobenzene.
