Abstract

Reaction of Triethyl trans-l, 2, 3-Tricyanocyclopropane-l, 2, 3-tricarboxylate (I) with Ethyl Sodiocyanoacetate.-A suspension of ethyl sodiocyanoacetate (0.03 mol) in anhydrous glyme was prepared by adding 3.4 g (0.03 mol) of ethyl cyanoacetate to a mixture of 1.4 g (0.03 mol) of sodium hydride (as a 50% dispersion in mineral oil) in 200 ml of anhydrous glyme at 10".
