Abstract

The use of methyltrioctylammonium tetrakis (oxodiperoxotungsto) phosphate (3-)(IC) in combination with hydrogen peroxide as the primary oxidant in an aqueous/organic biphase system provides a cheap, efficient, and versatile catalytic method for alcohol and aldehyde oxidation.
