Abstract

The photorefractive effect of photoconductive-polymer-stabilized ferroelectric liquid crystals (FLCs) was investigated. A photoconductive acrylate monomer and an electron acceptor compound were mixed with an FLC, and the mixtures were photopolymerized in the ferroelectric phase.
