Abstract
To discover a gastric antisecretory agent more potent than existing proton pump inhibitors, novel pyrrole derivatives were synthesized, and their H+, K+-ATPase inhibitory activities and inhibitory action on histamine-stimulated gastric acid secretion in rats were evaluated.
