Abstract

Eight novel analogues of Nifurtimox, 4-[(5-nitrofurfurylidene) amino]-3-methylthiomorpholine- 1, 1-dioxide, containing alfa–beta unsaturated amides, were synthesized and evaluated for their in vitro activity against Trypanosoma cruzi epimastigotes.
