Abstract

Potassium tert‐butoxide promoted arylation of imidazo heterocycles with diaryliodonium salts under transition metal‐free conditions has been described. The reactions proceed through radical pathway without additives and oxidants with good to excellent yields and functional group tolerance of arylated products.
