Abstract

We have addressed this problem by developing Mn-mediated coupling of alkyl iodides with N-acylhydrazones,(2) exploiting conditions of notable versatility with respect to both coupling components.(3) Until now, these Mn-mediated coupling reactions have been limited to aldehyde-derived imino acceptors.
