Abstract

Abstract In this work, five organotin (IV) carboxylate derivatives of 2, 4-dinitrobenzoic and 3, 5-dinitrobenzoic acids have been successfully synthesized and characterized quantitatively and qualitatively. Results of the spectroscopy studies indicated that the coordination took place via oxygen atoms from the carboxylate anions to the tin atom moieties.
