Abstract
Several new methylenedioxyphenyl (MDP) ethers were synthesised from sesamol and methoxy substituted sesamols and screened as pyrethrum synergists. In general, the synergistic activity increased with the methoxyl substituents and decreased in the corresponding alkenyl analogs.
