Abstract: In order to evaluate the effects of polymer binding on photoreactivity and other photochemical properties, we have synthesized a-cyclohexyl-pmethylacetophenone (I), a- cyclopentylacetophenone (11), and an analogue bound to insoluble polystyrene beads (PI).
