Abstract: The second-order rate constants (k,,) for reactions of [meso-tetrakis (2, 6-dimethyl-3- sulfonatophenyl)~ rphina-tolmanganese (II1) hydrate [(1) Mn111 (X) 2, X= H20 or HO-] with t- BuOOH and (Ph)(Me), COOH have been determined in aqueous solution in the pH range 7.3-12.6.
