Abstract

Abstract An efficient synthesis of aryliminophosphoranes is described. A mixture of an aromatic amine, diethyl azodicarboxylate and triphenylphosphine undergo a Mitsonobu type reaction at ambient temperature in dry dichloromethane to afford aryliminophosphoranes in excellent yields.
