Abstract

Abstract Diphenyl (trimethylstannyl) phosphine adds to alkynes (both terminal and non- terminal) and allenes under free radical conditions. The former reaction occurs regiospecifically with preferential formation of E-isomers, the latter regioselectively. Product identification was based on NMR spectroscopic data. With one exception, addition to alkenes was not observed.
