Abstract
We selected silyl ether 3a, prepared from 1,3-propanediol via alcohol 3b as shown in Scheme [2] , as the model compound. First, solvent (0.2 M for 3a) optimization was investigated (Table [1] ) using 6 molar amounts of NaClO 2 , [9] 2 molar amounts of NaH 2 PO 4 , [10] and 10 molar amounts of 2-methyl-2-butene at room temperature for the indicated reaction time.
