Abstract
'All the reactions with the exception of test 3 were performed in evacuated, sealed ampules. bThe percent is given with respect to the total Me3Si groups present. Benzene employed, 1.494 g. 60.410 mmol of NH4CI produced. CTriethylamine hydrochloride reagent.'Nitrogen bypass. 86.4% of [(Me3Si) 2NBNH] 2 [Me3SiNHBNH] together with 3.3% of unidentified compound formed; bulk insoluble polymer.* Not determined.'Room temperature.
