Abstract

Abstract N-Carbamoylamino acids were obtained through the alkylation of monosubstituted parabanic acids followed by hydrolysis of the intermediate products. This new methodology furnishes structurally and functionally diverse N-carbamoylamino acids in high preparative yields and excellent purity.
